201 - Fusion Pilates Fundamental Mat Certification Course
The fundamental exercises in Fusion pilates will focus on correct movement mechanics in the spine, pelvis and the sacrum. Next, we will review key exercises to facilitate core stabilization needed to execute the Pilates routines for building deep pelvic core strengthening. This course will incorporate pilates equipment in the mat routines and offer the proper instruction in how to use and add them to the Fusion mat workouts.
Intermediate exercises will be analyzed in detail so participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of what each movement looks like and how to execute them properly. You will also learn how to detect improper execution, and how to modify exercises effectively.
You will also learn the history of pilates and its founding principles. Fusion Pilates, like all pilates is based on Joseph Pilates Classical pilates framework and respect to his vision is mandatory. Emphasis will be placed on understanding exercise mechanics and teaching techniques to enhance routines, safety, and correct bio mechanics in every Pilates mat class you teach.
You Will Learn the following in this Fundamental Mat course
- The Fundamentals + 15 Basic-Intermediate Mat Work Exercises
